Cancellation Policy

Recording Services Policy This policy applies to all recording-based services at The Sound Box Recording Studio, including Music Recording, Audiobook Recording, Corporate or Commercial Recording, and Member or Subscription-based sessions. All sessions must be scheduled in advance through the online booking system or an approved scheduling method and are subject to Studio availability, staffing, and operational needs. Recording sessions require a minimum booking of two (2) hours unless otherwise stated in a membership, subscription, or custom agreement. Session start and end times are based on the scheduled booking time. Additional time may be added based on availability. Clients are encouraged to arrive on time and prepared for their session. Studio time includes setup, recording, and basic session management. Editing, mixing, mastering, production, or other add-on services may be billed separately unless included in a package, membership, or subscription. Clients are strongly encouraged to bring a hard drive or approved storage device to back up their session files. While the Studio may temporarily retain session data for workflow purposes, The Sound Box Recording Studio is not responsible for lost, corrupted, deleted, or unrecoverable files. Final responsibility for backing up and storing session files belongs to the client. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations, no-shows, or arrivals more than 30 minutes late without communication may result in the session being canceled, shortened, or counted as used. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. If payment fails or is declined, the session may be canceled or rescheduled until payment is successfully completed. Studio equipment and facilities must be treated with care. Clients are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests during the session. Only approved guests and participants are permitted during scheduled sessions. The Studio reserves the right to limit guest count to maintain safety, workflow efficiency, and a professional environment. Rates, discounts, and scheduling privileges tied to memberships, subscriptions, or corporate services apply only while those plans remain active and in good standing. The Studio reserves the right to modify scheduling availability or policies as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations.
